 Kosñipata is a diverse district its altitudinal levels separate zones with similar natural characteristics that have places that are worth visiting more than once.

 The tour begins in the Andean zone and transitions to cloud forest, wherein scrubland and dwarf forests predominate. Following this, the cloud forest landscape takes over as the principal actor, together with all of its characteristic fauna - noteworthy among them being the Andean cock-of the-rock, spectacled bear, puma, sloth, and a vast number of birds of all colors and sizes in manu trips.

 Further along, the rainforest appears at the end of the mountains in a plain with small hills, marking the end of the Andes and giving way to the Amazon, strictly speaking.

 There are more than 40 ethnolinguistic groups

In the Peruvian Amazon  manu jungle who have successfully benefitted from coexisting with nature and have generated very valuable knowledge for use by current and future generations. As just one small example, we know that a significant number of the synthetic drugs utilized daily are based on the active principles of many Amazonian plants that have been used by the Amazonian forest's inhabitants for centuries and will continue to be used in the future.

who nowadays live in greater harmony with nature, knowing how to  sustainably use the resources provided to them by nature and intimate understanding the land's vulnerability and therefore, how vulnerable we are, as well.

There are currently two indigenous communities’ in the Kosñițpata District to manu : Queros and Santa Rosa de Huacaria. While each has its own characteristic traits, they both always prioritize the positive Coexistence with their environs.

 In this zone, it is possible to visit Tres Cruces [Three Crosses] Overlook to see the rising of the Sun, a spectacular natural occurrence that is worth seeing. In addition, close by is the Trocha

Erickson [Erickson Trail] that crosses the Andean Scrubland, dwarf forest, and part of the loud forest. Also, near the Acjanaco Guard and Control Post you can take a tour of a small orchid garden and an Andean lake, where it is possible to see fox and deer.  The Wayquecha Biological Station

Is also nearby, with its impressive paths on which you can see an enormous number of birds and orchids, as well as a bridge at the canopy level of the trees, which will make you feel as though you were in the sky.
